Prairie Reviews Three Options from Cost Benefit - Analysis
October 19, 2009
Over the past 6 months Prairie has been engaged in the study of a cost-benefit analysis related to overall institutional viability. Prairie’s Board of Directors will be meeting on October 22-23, 2009 to look at the progress of this study.
One of the results of this study has been the creation of 3 possible options for PBI’s long-term viability. These options have been generated by organizing and categorizing all of the information collected from submissions received by interested individuals and groups along with analyses of market and environmental realities.
The three options that have been formulated for the Board are:
- Retain the entire PBI operations in Three Hills
- Keep the legacy campus in Three Hills and create a satellite campus in Drumheller
- Relocate the entire ministry to Drumheller
Each option is being presented according to its proposed effect on the mission of PBI, its advantages and disadvantages, its risks, its enrollment and financial projections and its resulting tasks – if it is to be the option chosen by PBI’s Board.
Please be in prayer as the Board prepares to meet in Three Hills on October 22-23.
