Prairie Plans to Begin Tendering for Contractors
December 21, 2005
Looking towards the future Prairie has determined an immediate need to redefine the campus and to plan for the replacement of the obsolete buildings. Modernization of the campus core, reduction of overall square footage and improved functionality are the main goals of the campus updates.
The new Maxwell Centre will be a multipurpose, multiphase, multimillion dollar project. It is hoped that phase one, containing training space for the newly created Prairie College of Applied Arts & Technology as well as student and business services, will be open in time for the new academic year.
Prairie plans to begin the tendering process for contractors in January 2006. Interested parties are invited to contact Lewis Hill, Vice President Finance & Operations, Box 4000, Three Hills, AB, T0M 2N0 or lewis.hill@prairie.edu.
Prairie is a leading Canadian centre of higher education for Christians. We equip students to achieve their life, ministry and career purpose and to fulfill their role within the Body of Christ.
