Enrollment Requirements
To begin a Bible College course, normally you should have a High School Diploma, or the equivalent. A limited number of mature students (21 years or older) who have not completed high school may be allowed to enroll. For Graduate Studies, an undergraduate degree usually is required. A limited number of mature students, with less than the required educational level, but who are 30 years old with considerable life and ministry experience, may be accepted.
Fluency in reading and writing English is essential for advanced courses. If English is not your first language please refer to the English Language requirements in the Admissions Section of this catalogue for complete details.
Transfer, Exemptions and APPLE Credits
You may apply for credits to be transferred from other post-secondary institutions. Through our Assessment Program for Prior Learning Experience (APPLE), we may grant college credit for learning you have done outside the classroom. If registered in a Prairie Bible College certificate or degree program, you can be exempted from selected courses through challenge exams.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate certain character and academic requirements must be met. This information will be sent to you on request, including the amount of the required graduation fee. Transcripts are provided upon request at no charge. We are required by law to have your signature when you request a transcript.
Completing a Course
Time Limit and Extension
You have six months from your enrolment date to complete a college or graduate course. If extenuating circumstances prevent you from completing a course by the due date, you may apply for a two-month extension. An administration fee is charged for this extension, which begins on your course due date. Only one such extension is permitted; if you have allowed the course to lapse beyond the end of the allowed extension period, you must re-enroll in the course.
