Oasis
The Oasis is a restaurant area open to community, and students meet for coffee. There is a small TV and a pool table.
It is sometimes fairly noisy and therefore not always conducive to study. When it is not lunch or coffee times, people use it for meetings or mentoring connections. It often has a rush of high school students at lunch time. |

Maxwell Atrium and The Gallery
This has two seating spaces. The larger space is a great place to catch some sunshine in the winter time — grab a book or meet a friend. It can be a nice place to fight off the winter blues. This glass area tends to echo, but a carpeted gallery space to hang out with friends is also available. There is coffee, tea and espresso available at this location for the whole campus and the community. |
Loft and Dabar
This space is upstairs and accessible primarily to students. It has a large TV, a piano, pool table, air hockey and a stage with a sound system for students to employ for their own entertainment. The Loft can be quieter in the afternoons and louder in the evenings. Sometimes it is conducive to study, but mostly it works for entertainment. The Loft is open until curfew every night. The smaller Dabar book room is a place to relax, study and read. |

The Upper Room
This is a room more generally accessible to dorm residence students but open to all students. It is located in the Cunningham Hall dormitory on the second floor. There are big comfy couches, several computers for Internet use, and large tables/booths for playing games. It is open to both men and women from 8 am until curfew. All other hours it does remain open but to women only. |
The ARC (Assistive Resource Centre) and Off Campus Lounge
This location provides professional academic support, counseling, career direction, spiritual direction, mentoring connections (and conversations) as well as a quiet space for study. It has two group study/meeting rooms.
The ARC has a spiritual life resource lending library. It has plenty of space to relax and visit with a friend. There is a writing centre in the ARC where you can use a computer while remaining close to the tutorial help you may need. A small refrigerator and a microwave are available for off-campus students in a lounge for their use.
