Diploma in Business Management & Leadership

A Two-Year Program
Dean of College of Applied Arts & Technology: Peter Mal

Overview
The Business Administration Program at Prairie College of Applied Arts & Technology (PCAAT) offers students the opportunity to gain a broad set of business administration skills designed to prepare Christian men and women to become proficient professionals for the various ministry marketplace contexts to which God may lead.

This program is for students who would like to pursue a career in business management or those who would like to prepare for leadership whether ministry, missions or marketplace opportunities. For each of these opportunities, holistically educated leaders are required to handle a variety of diversified responsibilities, including strategic leadership, financial management, human resource management, marketing, accounting and others.

Students will develop a modern global perspective and learn how to fit into culturally diverse organizations. Students will hone leadership skills and be better prepared to work well under pressure. In this two year program, students will gain an introductory knowledge of business concepts that will enable you to gain employment in entry-level management positions in business, industry, mission organizations and NGOs.

Coupled with intentional spiritual growth opportunities, the Prairie experience is also a highly intensive discipleship program that seeks to form the spiritual attitude and disciplines needed for success wherever you go next.

This program is designed to include:
• Finance & Accounting
• Marketing
• Management
• Human Resources

Career Opportunities
The focus of this diploma program is to prepare students with a strong foundation for meaningful employment in a variety of business careers, whether in the Christian, public, private, or not-for-profit sectors.

Business & Ministry
The public workplace is one of the greatest mission fields a student can enter. They are called to marketplace ministry to daily reflect Christ in relationships and through business excellence. Christian business leaders are also needed globally. Whether working in entrepreneurial pursuits, a mission organization, NGO, or business as mission, business competence is needed in a wide variety of roles. Prairie's desire is to prepare students to have a head for business but a heart for the world.
