Student Success Learn Styles

Learning Styles
Would you rather ‘learn through doing’ or listen to a presentation? Do you grasp information better when reading? Do you see pictures in your ‘minds eye’ when trying to recall information? Do you review through spoken repetition or writing notes?
These preferences are all aspects of various learning styles. While every PRAIRIE student holds the potential to grasp and apply new concepts, each student learns in a unique fashion. Taking the time to understand your personal style of learning will enable you to interact with your academic material in a much more enjoyable and efficient manner, leading to greater academic success and personal fulfillment.
All students can learn, though not every one knows how
Watch for upcoming learning styles inventories and exercises this year!
