Summer Aviation Camps
Our goal is to not only have fun with airplanes but to encourage a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is our desire that no one will go through these camps without being encouraged in their walk with God, and have a good introduction into the aviation industry.
Daily Schedule
Additional InformationGround InstructionOver the course of the week there will be ground based instructional time in which we will cover a wide range of topics. These instruction times will include Maintenance, Theory of Flight, Navigation, Basic Flight Maneuvers, Aviation in Canada and Aviation in Missions. These are taught by a certified flight instructor and are the same lessons that make up part of our Private Ground School course. Flight SlotsYou will be divided up into teams and assigned an aircraft. Each day your team will have at least one flight slot. During this time your team will be taken up and will practice what was learned in the Ground Instruction time. Each camper will receive 2 – 3 hours of actual flight training. Game TimeWe will have access to a variety of facilities in the evenings. Come prepared for swimming, as well as indoor and outdoor games. DevotionsDuring the camp we will look at the unchanging laws of physics that allow us to fly. We also want to look at the unchanging God that created those laws and learn more about Him. Cost for 2009 Aviation Camps (will include flight instruction, accommodation and meals): Early bird registration fee until February 26th, 2010, $875.00 Please include $50.00 with registration. Please Note: Registration is limited to 12 campers. Open to anyone 14 – 18 years of age. Camp is based at the Prairie
Bible College campus in Three Hills, Alberta.
