Prairie Campus Visits
This is an exciting time in your life; you are searching for the right college for you! At Prairie we want to do everything possible to help you in discerning God's will for your future education. We know that deciding on a college is a big decision. That is why we welcome you to come for a campus visit. There is no better way to know if a school is right for you then by discovering it all in person. Prairie could be the right place for you! Reading about us is helpful but it is not as great as being here. We also encourage your parents, family members, friends, youth pastors and educators to come along with you.
At Prairie we make visiting an easy way to experience campus life, here's how:
Prairie Previews
Prairie Preview Days are one day events that include information sessions, campus tours, Bible class or demo Bible class (for Saturdays), a chance to meet with Admissions staff or faculty, and enjoy a meal in the Dining Hall. The dates for our Preview Days are:
- Saturday, December 1
- Wednesday, January 30
- Saturday, March 1
- Wednesday, April 2 (Prairie College of Applied Arts and Technology)
- Saturday, May 3
- Saturday, June 7
Personalized Visits
Can't make it to one of our Preview Days? We can personalize your very own campus visit on another day and create your own customized experience. Our Admissions office is open Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm all year round (except holidays) to serve you. Whether during the school year or in the summer time we can design a visit that meets your needs. Contact our Campus Visit Coordinator in the Admissions office for more details or to arrange your visit.
Whether you join us for a Preview Day or a Personalized visit we encourage you to spend a night or two in the dorms (potential students only). Our "A Team" student hosts look forward to sharing their dorm rooms with you and showing you around so you can truly experience life as a Prairie student. This is a great opportunity for you to get to know our current students and make new friends. What better way to learn about life here as a student than from our students!
All campus visits are FREE! Our Admissions office is pleased to provide complimentary meals and accommodation during your exploratory visit to our campus. We will even help with transportation by picking you up at the Calgary Airport or bus station. As a potential student all of these services are offered to you at no additional cost.
