Education

BA, Prairie Bible College;

MAR, Eastern Mennonite Seminary, Eastern Mennonite University;

Background

Anthony was born in Ontario and grew up in Pennsylvania.  He has worked as a youth minister, a wilderness guide and an outdoor education instructor.  Along with teaching at Prairie, he is currently pursuing doctoral studies in systematic theology at the Wycliffe College, Toronto School of Theology (University of Toronto).  His research interests are in ecclesiology, Christian ethics, and theological politics as well as the work of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, John Howard Yoder and Karl Barth.

Involvement at Prairie & in Community

In addition Anthony is co-editor of the recently released "Power and Practices: Engaging the Work of John Howard Yoder". He has also written a number of essays for both scholarly and popular audiences. Anthony has preached, taught and coordinated study groups in various contexts. In their free time he and his wife Sarah enjoy road trips and spending time in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
