Biographical/Background Information
Dr. Olson has spent thirty years in pastoral ministry in Canada and the United States. He has presented church related seminars in North America and overseas. He is a member of the Evangelical Homiletics Society. He and his wife Karen, live in Three Hills. They have four grown children and seven grandchildren. Their son and his wife (Tony and Melody) and their four children serve at Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany. Two daughters and their families live in Alberta. The youngest daughter and her husband live in North Carolina. David's aspiration is to promote and encourage expository preaching and teaching as well as effective growth and ministry of the local church.
Involvement at Prairie and the Community
Dr. Olson serves the community and the church through teaching, student involvement and committee work. He is also involved in chapels and other campus musical events. He enjoys doing weekend church pulpit supply, regular Bible teaching in local churches, pastoral interim ministries and church leadership advising and counseling. He has served on community committees which included the Community Mental Health Advisory Committee.
