Biographical/Background Information Sylvia, along with her husband, Darrel, has spent 32 years in cross-cultural ministry in South East Asia. Initially they lived and worked in Kalimantan, Indonesia in church planting and mission administration, while raising two sons. In the past twelve years they have had an itinerant ministry of pastoral care of missionaries throughout the region, basing in Philippines, Canada, and finally, Singapore. No longer able to travel because of health reasons, Sylvia is thrilled to be involved in equipping and mentoring students and future missionaries.
Involvement at Prairie Besides teaching, Sylvia is hostess for one of the Explore teams and loves mentoring younger women.
