Education
B.A.Mus., Prairie Bible College
Background
Growing up in B.C. with limited musical background in her family, Jessica has always had a strong yearning to study music because of the influences found in the Church. Inspired by watching the keys of a piano as it’s played and the swift movements of conductors directing orchestras of voices and sound, she found herself desiring to be involved in music ministry. Having trained at Prairie Bible College she had many opportunities to participate in various choral ensembles, traveling to many places along North America’s West Coast and to Ukraine. She also sang with Alberta’s College & University Choir; was the Production Manager for Academy On Campus 2002; and has had opportunity to direct other various church choirs and worship teams.
Involvement at Prairie
Currently Jessica’s role within the fine arts at Prairie is to direct the performing ensembles that will be traveling throughout the school year and to coach young men and women in vocal lessons, further equipping them for music ministry in the Church. Along with that she works in the Development Department coordinating various events that build relationships with alumni and awareness for our supporters.
