Prairie Fees Payment Plan

Student Payment Options

Students have two options for paying their fees.

1. Pay the total fees in full at time of registration.

2. Pay by instalments.

Prairie's Pay by Instalments Plan

Student fees are billed for each semester of enrollment. Fee Calculation Worksheets are available as part of our online registration process or downloadable copies may be found here.

Choosing Prairie’s Pay by Instalments Plan allows students to divide their semester fees into 3 separate payments. A servicing fee of $50.00 will be added to the 2nd payment due. To enter into this option a payment agreement must be negotiated by either;

            1.  Payment by credit card. For this option the student pre-authorizes instalment payments by submitting credit card information. This can be done through our on-line pre-registration system, or by contacting our Student Enrollment Services Office. The pre-registration process will provide you with an estimate of your semester fees. If you are a new student to Prairie your Admissions Counsellor will help you through this process.

            2.  Payment can also be made by pre-authorizing bank debits from your Canadian bank account. A Canadian bank account is required in order to use this payment method. To initiate this payment plan option you will need to complete and submit an “Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement” form. A separate form must be submitted for each semester. These forms can be found at the following links:

         EFTA Fall Semester - 2007           EFTA Winter Semester - 2008

Note:  Non-Canadian students that wish to pay by option 2 will need to open a Canadian bank account. The Town of Three Hills has a number of financial institutions that can help you with your student banking needs. Follow any of the listed links for more information.

Hint:  The services offered by financial institutions can fit many needs. As a student you have the option to choose an account that is designed for you. Comparing services to find what will fit best for your needs is a great way to ensure that you do not pay for more than you need.
