Prairie Participates in Kids With Cancer Fundraising Event June 13, 2006 Two teams from Prairie Bible Institute participated this past weekend in the Kids With Cancer 5 X 5 relay race in Edmonton, Alberta. The purpose of this event, sponsored by All Weather Windows, is to raise financial support and awareness for the needs of Alberta children who are experiencing a personal battle with cancer. “We were thrilled to officially participate in this event and support the cause of raising money and support for children in our province who have cancer. We appreciate the heart of All Weather Windows for this cause as well as the support we have received from this company over the past 3 years. They are a great company that expresses their great values in many different ways. Our participation in this event was one more way of saying “thank you” to All Weather Windows and also supporting this very worthy cause,” Jon Ohlhauser, President of Prairie Bible Institute. At the close of the relay race it was announced that $238,000 had been raised for Kids With Cancer.
