Prairie Welcomes New Vice President of Organizational Development
November 15, 2006 Prairie Bible Institute is pleased to announce the successful completion of the search to fill the position Vice President for Organizational Development. Dr. Ron Berg, most recently serving as the Executive Director for the North American Baptist Conference in Oak Brook, Illinois, was presented to PBI’s Board of Directors at their Annual Meeting in November, 2006 to begin his assignment as Vice President of Organizational Development on December 1, 2006. “For the past 85 years God has unfolded a great story on the campus of PBI. What I am most excited about is the sense that God’s great story is alive and well on campus. I believe Ron’s familiarity with the PBI story that has already been told, coupled with his enthusiasm for the story that is being told and enhanced by his deep professional and ministry experience will enable the PBI story to be effectively told to a wider audience of people who need to hear and become active in their support of God’s ministry here in Three Hills,” Dr. Jon Ohlhauser, President, Prairie Bible Institute. “I am excited about the future for Prairie and the unique contribution it makes to the church, in the church’s mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ,” Ron states. Ron is a graduate of both Prairie High School (1960) and Prairie Bible College (1964). Ron has more than 40 years of experience in church and church related ministry. Ron’s wife Ruth was also a student at Prairie Bible College (1963 - 64).
