Missions Heritage:
Birthed in our distinctive missions heritage, Prairie's annual missions conference focusing on the outward commitment of the Christian to answer the call of Christ. Our goals for the Conference are to challenge all members of the Prairie community:
- To embrace the biblical message of the global mission of God through anointed preaching. God’s mission originates in His nature, finds initiative in His divine will, and is expressed in the mandate of Christ is to “go and make disciples of all nations”. God has called, equipped, and empowered the Church to participate as His servant in the responsibility and privilege of His mission.
- To expose the community to the current works of God in global mission. God is continuing in His mission today through the worldwide witness of congregations to the gospel of Jesus Christ in every culture.
- To engage in all realms of personal responsibility and influence to join God in His mission. The faithful Christian servant is to participate in the mission of God through willing submission to God’s unique design and calling.
