The Student Development Team welcomes you to your new home!

Prairie’s residential program supports the educational mandate of the institute, through a safe and exciting environment where students are challenged to live out their Christian faith on a day-to-day basis. With the help of a caring and knowledgeable staff, all students are challenged to grow in every area of life, including the spiritual, social, emotional, physical and intellectual dimensions.

We require all single students who are under the age of 21 or who are first or second-year students to live in residence (dorms). Exceptions include local students living at home or those taking 2 courses (6 credit hours) or less within a semester.

For information about living in residence, please review the Residence Handbook.

For suggestions of what to bring, see our what to bring to college list.

Capital Campaign: Expanding for Greater Impact

In 2022 we launched a 5-year, $100 million dollar Capital Campaign. This ambitious campaign includes a major overhaul to Prairie’s facilities in various areas on campus. It is a long-term investment to equip Prairie to expand our reach and impact students to meet the greatest needs of the world for God’s glory.

Prison Bible Encounter Program

Encourage inmates in three institutions across Alberta to discover or reconnect with Jesus Christ. This fund assists the students studying the Certificate in Bible program with scholarships, resources for classes, and instruction.
